Yay! Im going to spend the afternoon building snowmen with the kids!! I have just q found a recipe for snow it looks and can mold like snow and if you chill in the freezer feels like snow! Now all I need to do is make it fall out of the sky

Same here huge gusts my son woke up thinking he could here the waves crashing ( we live on a cliff top) but it was the rain against the window bless him!

eh, what? That actually happens? Most illuminating this thread (pardon the accidental pun).
We moan when the pavements of small side streets aren't gritted and cleared of snow, can only image the reaction if the street lights were turned off!
Yes all side roads go off at 00hrs - 6am (I think) its horrible and not to mention dangerous!

Humid, oh so humid and now heavy rain, last nights storm was a cracker it was like strobe lighting in the skyi sat eating my dominoes pizza in the pool watching it untill the rain hit abd went indoors untill the second storm hit at 3am and I ended up sitting out in the garden trying to cool down!

Hello everyone! Hope you are all well ive not been on lately as i have been ill for the last 4 weeks starting with a stomach bug then a cold then full on flu where i couldnt get out of bed and tonsillitis finally followed up by another cold and ear infection! i now seem to be on the mend and on a brighter note ive had everything so i should be good for a while! Just aswell as we now have 3 little ducklings to raise. Anyway the weather has been lovely here managed to leave my bed sunday to lay in the garden
was a tad chilly here last night but warming nicely x-

Hey everyone, been a few days since popping in but I've been busy doing my exams and am pleased to say I passed both english and maths with 100%!! I hope you are all well? You can tell its early ive been sitting scrolling through post thinking I dont recognise these people and that doesn't sound right only after 8 pages I realise im in the Yorkshire thread!.. any way now had my coffee and feel more alert to post! Im not sure what has been going on but I hope no one leaves this regional thread especially a valued top poster. Any way back to the weather its windy and drizzle here, but rumour has it we are in for something atad colder?

Hope everyone is safe. Im disgusted on how people are being left to deal with this themselves watching sky news im truely shocked and as someone just said "and this is great Britain! ? " Still im not going to get into politics.. back to the weather its still raining it still grey and ive still had enough of resembling a half drowned rat!

Blimey what a lucky escape!Hi folks, I just thought I'd share possibly the most dramatic picture from yesterday's storm which was posted to me by one of my followers on my weather page. "HiJust thought I would share with you the devastation that the squall line left behind yesterday in East Sussex. This is a picture of what is left of my Dads car after a freak gust of wind brought down a tree on his motor, miraculously my Dad was able to scrabble out of the wreckage with just cuts and bruises but it could have been a whole different story."
