    I judge a cold spell by the fact if it is snowy and cold enough to use the sledge. The last few times I used it was in 2008, 2009, 2010. Those trio of winters from 2008-2010 were incredible. Since 2010 I have only used it once in Jan 2013 which highlights the rubbish state of our winters!!!!

    Heavy rain forecasted to start at 7pm for where I am. The problem is I'm set to play tennis outdoors at 7pm Any chance the rain could miss Crawley?

    In your opinion has there been a downgrade or an upgrade in the last couple of hours? In my area it is now showing some sleet where there was snow.

    I checked BBC weather and it looked like there was an upgrade BUT it says we will have sleet at 9pm after all the heavy snow
