That is very interesting because a long range forecaster, Ken Ring at www.predictweather.co.nz has predicted that this Summer will be similar to that of 1995 with the heat starting in the end of June.
Are the models gearing up for a re run of 1995?

Today's Met Eirann weekly forecast says that after a couple of cool days High pressure will build stronger from the West and temperatures will recover, there is far too much gloom on here today.
It really does not look too bad and when compared to last year I think the weather is trying to settle down overall, a small change in wind direction will make a big difference to temperatures.
