  1. I don't really see anything happening on the Eastern side. Happy to be proved wrong given i'm in that area but I just don't see it.
  2. Seems to me as if it's been fading over the last couple of hours every time it gets anywhere near.
  3. Yes, it's called sunset. Wishing you the best of luck though, hope you get something.
  4. I was watching it earlier on one of the Port Rotterdam cams, fairly intense!
  5. Just stick it in your profile so it appears on the left next to every post, helps everyone keep track.
  6. Anyone got any good links to cams in the action zone? Had a look back through the thread but was either blind or drew a blank.
  7. Hoping this one that has started over me produces for a while.
  8. You should get the lower part of what we have just had run through here, fairly intense and a crack of thunder to boot.
  9. I'm still holding out hope for this afternoon onwards, from what I can see (untrained eye but ever optimistic) on the satellite the showers push further south later.
  10. If they are anything like our lot then no chance. Having the bin an inch open seems to scramble their senses, god knows what a cover of snow will do to them.
  11. Most of them just skirting here too. Looking at the satellite suggests they may be further south this afternoon though. Or i'm just hopelessly optimistic.
  12. Our three kids attend three different schools, two primary and one secondary, all closed today. Not as confident this morning of a good day though, we are in the bowl that somehow didn't go amber and I thought (hoped) it would have changed overnight.
  13. Yeah, was pretty much the same up this end. Much of it is back now though and high hopes for overnight.
  14. Are you right down near the front then? When I walked down this morning taking the little one to school, it seemed to think out the further I got.
  15. I reckon this next one is going to last a while.
  16. If it matches the intensity of those we've had here in the last couple of hours, this next one could dump a hefty load.
  17. We were all grains earlier but the last couple of bands have had flakes the size of fists, laid bloody quickly too. Hopefully some of it moves your way.
  18. It would always normally be A19>A689>A1>A696 but i've had some hairy moments in the snow on the A689 around Butterwick, that could be tricky in the dead of night if it gets a good dumping. The rest should be relatively clear.
  19. Very heavy here now and what looks like an even heavier band following shortly.
  20. It's a strange morning really. With snow on the ground and the sun out, it's normally a case of 'thats it' and you watch it all disappear. Knowing there is much more to come and that this cover isn't really going to go nowhere, that is a strange feeling.
  21. And aforementioned black cloud is now unloading here, fairly intense.
