    Just looking at the radar and there is massive echo of the coast off yorks heading this way.

    Spent last night in south shields ANC there was heavy snow showers. But the inch of snow on the car roof from falling in Nunthorpe had nearly all melted by the morning. Just got back and there us an inch on the other car back in Nunthorpe from what ever happened yesterday. So what's going to happen today? Nothing until the early hours then a good dumping?

    After an hour of fine crystals in the air we are back on with light snow

    Just had word from the man upstairs. Teesside to see major snow by 9 pm and the boro game to be called off

    So what to do tonight? Torture myself by watching on fleeting glimpses of snow or listen to the boro game or do both and lose the will to live by half time! Back on again moderate snow

    A good fifteen minutes worth here and still going. Re the boro game, not good to travel for no reason but I don't fancy our chances tonight

    Hang on hang on, Clouding over. Flake 19 has landed and I am confident of number 20 & 21 before 4pm!

    Well after all the hype today has finally started to deliver. In the past hour I have seen no fewer than 18 flakes

    interesting, a bit all or nothing then. for large accumilations, nothing on Friday would be better. probably more touch and go the further south you are in our region

    You're nearly right Alza. There is a large Magma lake slowly rising to the surface in the Stockton/Thornaby area
