    the first band already has and is why Chelmsford is getting a hammering the second band is over Northampton ATM but the southern side of this band looks to be breaking up

    It is starting to turn into quite a narrow band now so some places will get clobbered and others will wonder what all the fuss was about it seems

    Tbh I'm finding it hard pushed to shout snow it's really really wet and flicking between really wet snow and sleet whatever the radar says lol

    As the low is sinking s/se you can see the precipitation wrapping round on the back edge now

    not sure but being on the eastern side of the low I am hoping our region will miss it!

    also a lot of posts saying it's raining, I'm still a bit concerned that there seems to be some milder air mixing in! I won't be happy until I see snow fall and stay as snow lol

    A lot of rain reports coming in from those that the polar low is effecting at the moment!

    Showers dying behind this main clump now after a little top up on the dusting we had earlier so now it's a will it won't it polar low hit or not but something tells me it's going to slip west of here so will watch the radar for another hour and if I think that's still the case I will go to bed! I think the exit point for the polar low being over the iow is to Far East imo
