    Still a distinct line there; replaying the radar and certainly not moving fast at all. Expecting 10mm or so from this weather system at least.

    River Wye is extremely high as I was there earlier. Even trees near the river were half submerged.

    Funny how we are getting all this rain and the closest river to me its river level is falling?

    Rainfall totals risen 1.3mm in 19 minutes leading to a overall total of 8.2mm.

    6.9mm today and the heaviest is expected tonight and meant to last till 3am worrying times as there are already very large puddles.

    Any risks of any heavy showers/storms today. I do see an anvil to my southwest which is fairly close though radar shows nothing under 40 mile away?

    Yes certainly had a little snow here, settled on the car windscreens but nothing else. Certainly a fair bit reported in bath to over an inch!

    Yet another 2 heavy hail showers on the way back from Woolacombe. No thunder heard.

    I have been in Woolacombe for the past week and not been on lately but luckily have the chance to report 3 torrential showers yesterday, all with hail and one with thunder. 2 showers during the night with hail and another shower with hail this morning. What a cracking time here.
