    Quick Question Steve Do you think this is the main blast for the UK or more too come as I really don't see this lasting any longer than Monday.

    Even though we have this event this Weekend what's happening with the PV? Do you think after a sort of mild 'blip' we could be sent into another cold blast or raging PV?

    Errr another post like this. the strat warming has done something other wise we would be in raging swesterlies or just westerlies the SSW can affect us down the line too as this is the initial response too the SSW we have more too come so do let your hopes down if you didnt see anything today as there is plenty of time. Last year it took 9 days for a real change this also took around the same but this seems better. NH of the gfs hints height rises over the pole and nearly nothing left of the vortex This would leave us in a very negative AO and a also a negative NAO. You can see from this chart if it went on a couple more frames we would begin too see ridging around greenland. So don't you say that the SSW had no effect on the weather because it has just giving us a small cold snap which has given some there first snowfall of the season.

    That radar has the heaviest RAIN over me This Monday is just a normal day.

    I can confirm that the warm sector is over my head right now lifting temps back too 3-4 degrees. Hope everyone enjoys there snow I'm going too go out and play in the puddles

    People along the east coast such as woodbridge and ispswich can they keep a look for snow so we can a rough idea where the snow will start too fall.
