    Gfs looks good for all the mids. But trying to guess totals when the models don't agree yet is really pointless. But good to see it go further North and Icon pretty much the same as it was with light snow further North. Good start so far to the 12z

    Looks like light snow for a few hours Thursday night for North and central mids risk of heavy snow South mids following the Icon. Let's see how the big three go

    Yh Hiralm is pretty nice, 12z about to start soon will there will be a shift North or South but wich one. Shift South and it's a dusting at best from flurries. Shift North and it's 5cm plus again. Heart says North but head says South on the past results. Place your bets now

    Downgrade for my area from Met now just a bit of light snow and I am in the current Snow zone. Maybe they are now only just taking the latest models into account. It's tense but it's why we all love the chase lol.

    Pic I nicked from the SE thread latest forecast. Met and BBC say to the ECM I dont know what your smoking lol. Angle looks better for us. Also look at the little low to the South propping up the main front

    Yes I hope so means it will stall right over the Black country PMSL. But in all honesty it's still 24 hours to go also gfs was further North so expect further corrections North or South.

    Yes mate and you have to think at this range and the Met with there super computers and access to models we cant see that it won't be dar of that. BBC just use ECM from what I understand.

    It does seem overall to be way weaker band than forecast Met and BBC say light snow from Thursday 7pm until Friday 10am. Also the band will hopefully hit the Midlands at nite so settling shouldn't be an issue. 12z should be the decider as the low comes into view.

    @Crewecold looking at the gfs that is a touch further South and inline with gfsp wich is further North. I think Nottingham will be the Northern boundary line but we shall see. Unlike the Premiership title race this aint over yet lol.

    The Snow risk though is clearly more North though on gfsp and at present both are smack on the Miss. Could change and keep going South but compare the two last nites 18z first. Clearly on the gfsp 00z the risk is further North and better angle.
