Look at the size of those flakes Gord been a long time since I have seen virtual blizzard conditions. About 4cm here now. Long time coming and now I am content for the rest of the Winter.

Safe to say the roads are toast just been out the Wolverhampton road is completely covered. True Winter wonderland out there way better than I expected.

A few cms have fallen now. Current moderate snowfall radar and Met app has it lasting until around 10am. Already way better than last winter and good model runs also this morning hopefully setting up a great Winter for us all.

So far it looks a tad East than the predicted track. I think the main issue is the intensity of the PPN so far its weaker than wat the euro4 showed if it doesn't detiorate i think the Midlands will get a covering at least.

Band seems a touch weaker for tomorrow but still should give a covering in most places and whoever is lucky enough to be on the pivot of the front should get a few centimetres.

Its trending South every run I think Somerset/Devon could be the sweet spot on Monday. With showers anywhere in the UK as that Cheshire gap ramps up. -

Reading from the shadows normally 24 hours behind due to the rapid comments in the past 7 days. Just gone through 40 pages and woww what a read better than any book or film. Keep expecting that downgrade but thankfully that hasn't happened yet. Best model viewing since 2010 and the ermm the fabled beast from the East that we won't mention lol. Looking good i think we are in the raffle for Christmas this year I seriously can't remember the last cold Xmas. All we need is cross model agreement and a nice smooth run up to Xmas whilst avoiding those troublesome short waves. What could possibly go wrong lol. Great start to this morning runs nonetheless.

So around 2cms fell between 12 and 4 then turned to rain and left a slushfest. Still nice to see and was very suprised. Already better than than last Winter lol. ❄❄❄

Absolutely belting it down by far the heaviest for snow for like 2 years. Very suprised as it looked the wrong side of marginal.

Still alot of PPN about for us. Met app useless says its raining lol. Yh nearly missed it was just about to go to sleep and looked outside and it was hammering down with snow. I was looking forward to moaning about a snowless Winter lol.
