Saturday looks a bust again going by ECM snowline is further East almost identical for today.

Yh we had 3 good coverings. 6 days of snow on the ground and numerous snowfalls. So eases the pain of missing out today. Saturday is 50/50

But it wasn't wide spread alot had sleet or rain. Obviously elevation was key. Mate lives in Durham they had a mix of evrething. And yep we get to repeat the will it won't on Saturday lol.

Shortwave defences from the North, South, East and West lol. If its possible to avoid cold in the UK anything is possible lol. -
Surely if those Greenland heights link up with the Artic high then the cold air to our east has nowhere else to go but into Scandinavia and towards the UK. Much better runs this afternoon and make a huge difference towards the end of Jan potential. Come on ECM back it up now.

Radar shows some heavy stuff for you in next 30 mins or so. But overall yh its been a disappointment for the Mids except for a few lucky spots in North Mids.

No the main band is still moving south east. But quite a few showers breaking of it and heading West also a bit of activity near Northern Ireland that might come into play later.

Yh if that front pushes just a tad more South you would be in business. Currently your the boundary area.

Not to bad give or take 20 miles lol. It was close but no cigar. Currently skirting Stoke and Leicester.

Credit to gfs for calling it mainly a north and east event. Anyone in the West Mids give up the front isnt going to make it here its badly fading now and patchy in nature. Met office warnings also bang on.

Aperge did best last time when we had snow, and 3 out of 4 aint bad lol. Shiekhy be a happy bunny when he wakes up lol.

Yh Matt the temps around Midday will be cold enough its just how quick we get the cold air further enough west to get the back edge snow most models have it changing around midday GFS not as good and delays the cold.

Temps drop rapidly around 7am tomoz. But its going to be one hell of a drop to be snow. mid afternoon seems best for West mids.

Same although I did notice last few days he seemed agitated. But shame as his knowledge was very impressive.

Yh all models have it now further South and West. ECM nearly has it in the West Country. Mine just changed to 9 hours of snow lol.

Was it down to the bad model run or was it more vindictive in nature. But yh abuse or swearing can't be tolerated.

No way is it a permanent ban. I didn't see nothing happen on the Mod thread I must have missed it.
