Yh my mates live in Yeovil and they can't believe the difference dropped about 6cms here in a 2 hour spell of very heavy snow. Fingers crossed for you guys tomoz its a bit marginal but truly hope you guys get some and my mates in Ilminster and Yeovil. -
Snow doughnut at its heaviest now a good 5cm has fallen. I admit I called it wrong earlier.

Truly biggest flakes i have seen since 2010 in half an hour about 3cm has fallen. Still very heavy

Always looked like to far south for the Midlands also brings milder air with it so would only be transient or a sleety mix.

Nice blob heading this way in about 20 minutes or so. Frustrating so far every time we get anything heavy it only lasts a few minutes before going bk to light snow. But can't complain 2 days of snow is already better than last 3 Winters.

Light snow here seems any heavy stuff has gone west still nice to see after yesterday's fun and games but todays wont really amount to much here. Glad to see Stoke and other areas getting a pasting.

Stoke is definitely the sweet spot today. Looks a good few hours left for them on top of what they have had already. Moderate snow here now sky looks looks loaded.

Looks to be dying a death on the radar as it travels West. By the time it gets here it won't amount to much. Ironically the Sun is out now.

If it gets here I think it will be snow. Further west ironically is less marginal. Obviously any elevation helps

About 3 quarters of the snow remains here been a slow thaw mainly on roads and trees. I think the front on Wednesday will be to far south but even without that many opportunities for showers forming in the North Sea and drifting in land. 1c here and very misty been a great snow day.

Stopping here now turned out to be a good little event about 5cm fell over a 6 hour period.

I hope those who were unlucky get some tonight or tomorrow. After 6 hours of snow pretty happy now lol.

Getting heavy again here. Streamers setting up all over the place tonight and tomorrow. Many more will pop up at short notice as the air is unstable.

We might be lucky with the pivot also as it falls bk on us again for a couple of hours.

You nailed it pretty well mate a few days bk. Pivot is right on the West mids. Did way better than I expected here as I look at the heavy snow still falling.

Yep its given a decent amount about 4cm here so far also thunder snow in places. Strangely icon did the best with this little event. Still snowing here as the pivot starts to push bk west.
