Worries me that alot of it is falling as rain further north but hear the skys are clear and a harsh frost everywhere and also nice snow cover so not to worried about the temps

Cant see it happening like that to be honest i think it will interact with the other little low and be a bigger band but who knows it just guess work until it hits land

All this polar low talk i forgot about the models lets just say after sat night the real cold is coming to town and snow chances a plenty next week

Temps dropping here nice frost forming over the snow looks stunning. The peak district dosent need a polar low they are getting a pasting without it lol

The low looks alot bigger with ppn covering a much larger area i think all the midlands will see snow fergie is warning ne somerset for snow so if thats the case then its still on track

Polar low alert for ireland warning just issued. seems to be tracking a tiny bit further east than forecast and alot more ppn around it so could be good.

So bbc weather showed sw mids getting the snow completely missing east and west mids dammm but the guys further south deserve some

Look at the satelite images you can clearly see the eye even the experts agree its a polar low. The question is how far south will it get

Yh true polar low would be the cherry on the cake if it happened. But if not looks like streamers are forming through the gap so plenty of showers about.

No way we can know yet its still to far away no warnings from the met so dont think they belive this will amount to much Uppers will be crucial

Does anyone know what time the polar low would hit the midlands if it happened

From what i know about a polar low is they dont have mild sectors so wherever it hits almost a cert that it will be snow.

Also looks like the whole midlands could get snow especially with good asl
