Yh dancer my thoughts exactly i wonder if thats why i have heavy snow warnings at 12pm nothing since 9 looking outside my window at work just very dark clouds.

Dry here although quite a few snow showers overnight met says more on the way

Thats the spirit its now casting at its best. Tomorrow looks very interesting now quite a few heavy snow symbols from the met looks like a few streamers are going straight through the midlands tomoz. Nite everyone and good luck tomoz.

Yh just happy to see snow falling and even in the north its hit and miss and tonight was never meant to be anything major just a lucky few might get a covering tomoz looks better. And after the weekend has real potential. And all the showers that have fallen here have been pure snow

Yh alot more windy than forecast some big gusts here. Possible blizzard conditions later for the peak district. Euro4 does look good but can be misleading when it comes to local forecasts.

Could be a case of short term pain for long term gain for those of us in the west midlands the mods seem to make more of the warm sector in our neck of the woods. So sleet looks more likely although good elevation it could be snow still this is also shown now in met and bbc wich has a sleet snow mix for me, looks as though east midlands will do well though and our derbyshire friends. But its a very fluid situation so anything is possible. Long term though charts couldn't be better.

Just different opinions wed nite into thurs morn look gd for snow. Fri probs rain , weekend looks very interesting for the whole of the uk but expect short term changes wether its good or bad.

True but the building blocks arent that far away but much chopping and changing to come. But we know we have at least a week of proper cold and snow in places. That is nailed on now

Pub run lives up to its name much more ppn about giving us better snow chances if the showers come at night on wed they will be snow only friday and sat morning looks marginal to me. And in fi the pub run just couldnt be any better lots of snow chances and deep cold. Yh it was a thing of beauty short and long term i think your area is going to get smashed
