  8. Thank you xxsnowflakexx and mac Mac that sadly is the case, however there have over the years been a few reported sightings of isolated glow-worms these were probably introduced and without the natural food didn't survive long. Worth keeping your eyes open though as there has been a recent reported sighting! The theory as to why this is the case is that Ireland is separated from the coasts of England and Wales by a much deeper channel, so that even in the depths of an Ice Age, when sea level was at its lowest, Ireland would have remained largely isolated from mainland Britain, meaning that the glow-worms didn't get across. Sorry for going off topic
  9. not if i beat ya to it!!! For the past couple of years to my mind we seem to miss the big electrical storms, its been a few years since we had what i would call a decent storm here
  10. I have just finished watching it on youtube, and i have to say what a refreshing change, certainly makes you think. As a few on here probably know I believe in natural GW, that climate shifts and changes are driven by natural causes rather then us insignificant lot with our massive egos. Its nice to hear the other side of the argument for once, as to be blunt I have become sick to the core with the media ramming it down my throat constantly. Every single (and I mean EVERY) weather event is put down to AGW. I have respect for the AGW argument, but to date I have yet to come across one shred of evidence (scientific FACT) that backs up the AGW theory, and yes thats all it is, a theory. Hope this opens peoples minds a bit more and to not blindly accept what they are forced to listen to day in and day out. Rant over
