  6. You are correct in that transition from late winter to early spring should be gradual and include some frosty nights and cold/chilly days, Weather of course will decide what pattern it intends to take,,,,,, It's the obsessive search for deep cold. that gets little tedious at this time of year,

  12. Just popped up Garden centre. Got some seed trays and compost, They got load of half price sledges, all piled up by entrance door, But what caught my eye was sign on there cafe door,,,,,," Tea or coffee with free Crumpet" They will be busy this weekend when people see that !!!!!!!

It's nice rural area that off tourist route [ Apart from odd coach that visit the Cerne Giant, Which always produces few ribald remarks and giggles about his obvious assets] The Cerne valley walk always very pretty and provides sightings of Deer and buzzards taking advantage of thermal uplift,
