BBC has changed its tune again.. 2 day mild blip before back to freezing cold

I've told the kids to expect rain.. maybe freezing rain... told them absolutely no snaw to come.. apparently its just not fair as all their friends have snaw in Aberdeenshire and have been off school... i replied with "oh well thats life"..

Well bbc has me down for a few snaw showers friday followed by sleet and rain overnight... but heavy snaw in warmer conditions on Sunday..

I will accept this... but only because I've seen naff all so far this cold spell other than frost and ice....❄❄❄

As i suspected the cairngorms soaked up all that snaw...one tiny shower has got through but on the radar its passed to the north west of me by about 5 miles...

Cairngorms will soak that up... doubt anything will get south of there..

Car is now reading -9c... how low can we go tonight/tomorrow morning.. im guessing @Sceptical will be one of the lowest as before in Feb 2021 i do believe it was Alford that recorded -23.4c...

Just been out to the car and its reading -7c... so its dropping away and with such clear skies its only gonna get colder and colder...

Maxed out at -3c and was -5c at 5pm... its gonna be a really cold night tonight...wouldnt be surprised is a -20c is seen in more than one place overnight..

Took the dog out for a walk and have been on my A#*e twice... the pavements are deadly and the roads looks nice and wet but are solid ice. All the local hills are covered nice and white and it appears some of the higher parts have had a dusting, infact it looks like my area is the only place that missed out.. oh well all good fun and games in the chase..

Well that was probably the worst ref I've seen at a world cup of bad refs... is what it is.. once again failure to be brave when needed.. Still taken it on the chin and looking on the funny side.. It's got colder over the last few hours and the pavement outside is like an ice rink..

Precipitation seems to weaken or totally disappear as it approaches Perth and then peps up as soon as it passes...
