@Hairy Celt i bet she sees snaw before you do this winter... on a serious note congratulations . Was a beautiful morning here but the cloud has quickly rolled in and the wind has picked up. The mad house is still as mad as ever.. up and down more often than a tarts knickers in there.. the gfs is no good the para is better.. ECM is a thing of beauty but is it just playing us? GEM says yes but the Icon says no.. we're in for a mega freezer in December no wait hang on there's a shortwave near Norway.. the PV is toast what if we get a SSW??..

Well thats the mad house set into full swing... its all gung-ho and away we go tonight. Boom charts and winters on its way.. 14 days in the new house and still not even close to putting the heating on... still sat at 21c.. im sure that will change at some point.. now Bring me my snaw....

14 days since we moved in to the new house and still not even close to turning the heating on.. the has stayed at a constant 21c.. we have had windows open at night as its been so warm...

The time on the clock is wrong as i cant be dealing with putting it back an hour only to put it forward again.. but still a remarkable temperature for this late in Autumn ...

17c here... and now day 11 of not having the heating on and the temperature inside is still 21c... its got to change soon surely a big bite if winter is coming??

According to the car it was 14c at 8am....very windy day ahead by the looks of things. Im still convinced it will be a sudden and sharp change to something much more like winter when it comes.. i seem to remember 2010 autumn was very mild and wet..until well you know that 6 weeks of pure bliss...

Recently moved into a brand new eco friendly house... all sorts of energy saving stuff going on.. the builders left the heating on at 28c so was like a furnace on the day we moved in.. turned it straight off (took a meter reading and sent it to builders to sort out) that was 8 days ago.. the house has dropped to 21c and stayed there we have opened windows and doors to let air flow but as soon as they are closed the house warms up.. the heating has not been on once in 8 days...

@Coopsy he name doesn't come up when trying to tag him in a post and recently when i was viewing older threads he was shown as a guest maybe all the Canadian snaw..

They are indeed and infact thriving off of it... my eldest just passed her nat 5's with all A's and B's... not bad for a kid that was home educated for over 2 years due to horrific bullying that almost pushed her to take her own life... and yes Perth at 30m asl is fine with me, ive made peace with my inner snaw demons...

Raining again... looks like its going to be very mild for the next 7 day period before something more seasonal appears, nothing looks cold though and from the mad house it looks like doom and gloom as we head toward the start of winter.. myself i just have a hunch that its going to be a sudden and dramatic switch to colder weather with plenty of snaw fun for us all..

Not sure how i would describe the weather today... still day 5 in the new house and still yet to turn the heating on and the house is still sat at between 20c and 22c.. remarkable really.. looks like more miserable weather to come before a definite cool down mid month, will it lead to anything decent for us Snaw hunters who knows

Finally a sub zero night... a beautiful sunrise over the white frost covering the world.. was still showing 0c at 8am.. a stunning day here.. almost finished unboxing.. a few bits to do over the weekend and then next week sort doctors etc and make all the phone calls to change address..

Well we are in the new house.. issues galore with heating and a total loss of all water pressure (apparently its across the entire area).. weather wise its Sh1te... rain rain rain.. cardboard boxes everywhere kids moaning that they dont have wifi... I've got wifi working but im not telling them... Ive not been in the mad house to see when winter is going to start...
