  1. @edo its 2020 never say never. The way this year has gone it wouldn't be a surprise if the mildest winter on record happened.
  2. The log burner is definitely doing the job.
  3. @Ravelin it would appear that we are in for a rather large amount of rain over the coming few days. I have no need to leave the comfort of my house until Monday so indoors it will be. Beer, curry and football will keep me occupied.
  4. @Sanserit that is my favourite film for winter. Apart from December when I go all Charles Dickens.
  5. I'm not sure i can find the words to describe just how awful it has been here today.
  6. A foul morning outside. Looks worse than yesterday. Pinch punch first day of the month. Somebody go wake up Green Day.
  7. What a horrible day.. Grey and wet. I believe the term is pish. What a massive difference from yesterday. Might have to clean the log burner out and fire it up if it continues like this.
  8. Just a few pictures from today. Won't let me upload a video. Shame cos I have a couple of crackers..
  9. @Ravelin thats very true but I'm gonna try my best honest.. well I was going to add some photo's and a video of my morning but for some strange reason i can't the "click to choose files " bit is not working..
  10. @Sanserit its what we call the model output discussion thread. In winter months it turns into a place best avoided for your own sanity.. some of us in here pop in to stir the S**t pot when we have snaw and those South of the border dont.. i normally get myself in trouble for it mind.. but this winter I'm gonna be a good boy..
  11. Cracking photos @CatchMyDrift excellent charts @Kirkcaldy Weather @Mr Frost a level head as ever. it's been a beautiful morning/afternoon had a great walk on the beach at Costa Del Newburgh. Got some pics and videos will pop them up later.
  12. As ever @CatchMyDrift excellent photos.
  13. A rather bright morning here. So home teaching today will mostly be spent at the local beach. See if we spot some seals while also learning about them and the surrounding environment. Might as well make the most of what looks like the last real usable day for the next week or so. I'm gonna pop into the mad House to see when the snaw is arriving
  14. So Mrs Mair Snaw has today told me she wants more outside space. So i have agreed to another house move... she then says a home by the coast would be nice... she has been told to get tae f#*k. And quickly agreed to a move inland and said no more than 200m asl.. oh go on then.
  15. Lovely to see all these wonderful pictures... makes nice viewing instead of looking out at Aberdeenshire permagloom.
  16. No frost here today.. just the same greyness as yesterday. No wind today tho so thats better than yesterday, other than that same s#*t different day.
  17. Grey and more grey today infact I'm sure somebody wrote a book about different grey shades. Im sure I've seen all of them today. The strong wind has slowly died down so that's at least something.
  18. @Puffy MacCloud total opposite here.. wall to wall cloud no sunshine to be seen and a strong gusty wind.. The only good thing about this mornjng was tattie scones, bacon and eggs for breakfast.
  19. @Ravelin they look nasty little bleeders them. made me rather itchy
  20. Just been out to the bin shed.. blimey that wind is cold. A shock to the system.
  21. Chilly this morning.. a mix of showers and sunshine. Breezy still and I woke to the heating having kick in overnight . Which means the temperature has dropped below 18c inside. Not all bad tho as my floors are now toasty and warm. Looks like a cool weekend coming up, if only it was winter proper could have been some fun and games being had. Oh well plenty of time for that to come.
