  1. @CatchMyDrift definitely not the coronavirus that has already been and gone asymptomatic so i was lucky I guess. This cold is worse so far, maybe it's man flu. Mrs snaw has no sympathy at all.. Oh yes this is a weather forum. So i guess I best talk about that. Its a beautiful morning here, clear skies a slight breeze and sunshine is this the mega heatwave they have been going on about in the mad house?? I bet it rains later Have a great weekend all im away for a lemsip and maybe something added
  2. inside 25c... you need to turn off the heating and open some windows..
  3. Also it Friday night so what's everybody upto?? Me im suffering from a heavy cold so just drinking a few of these this evening
  4. @Puffy MacCloud where did you get that from?? My old cheap Aldi one broke last winter and nit got round to getting a new one..
  5. It would appear that I've been asleep for a long time. I've woken up in November horrible morning. I'm away to the mad house to see what be going down.. Happy Friday to you all
  6. A cool start here 6c at 6am. Sun was trying its hardest to make an appearance but the cloud is now building in and the wind is picking up after a calm start. Tomorrow looks like a total write off with rain and strong winds. Then a few warmish days before a drop back down in temps. So nothing really out of the norm for the time of year.
  7. A few sharp showers this afternoon and its a cool night out. Well the cold bug is sweeping through the house as my darling child has passed it on to me.. sharing is caring so he says. I see great excitement over in the mad House over some long range charts, its a tad early for that kind of thing.
  8. Not a bad start here this morning. A bit of a breeze and definitely a tad cooler.
  9. Just seen the weather over in Denver.. around freezing and blizzards. By Thursday 28c... thats just mental. How is that even possible??
  10. @Quinach still loads of them here.. can wait for them to bugger off.. keep flying in to my patio doors.. Its smashing it down with rain here now after a wonderful day and evening. We also have an 11 year old Autistic who has nothing more than a cold but is freaking out that he has the killer bug from the news and social media. Its gonna be a very long night..
  11. A decent start here this morning. Time to get the kids over the park for some P.E. looks like a good week ahead for this area. Mrs Snaw keeps going on about weather apps and so i was wondering if others in here use them and if so what ones and are they any good?
  12. Same here today.. the heating even came on over night for the first time since we moved in so I've been round and turned the individual thermostats down.. heating in September not in my house. Pop another pair of socks on and a jumper.
  13. @Ravelin how much do you charge for a jar and can you deliver to Ellon??
  14. A very nice day here all round. Had a few heavy showers but nothing of any real note. I like Autumn for its colours and its variety of weather types normally a bit of everything from sun to storms and sometimes a bit of the magic white stuff. Off for a drink at the neighbours as they are in our Bubble. Could get messy.
  15. Sunny, breezy, cloudy and the odd spot of rain in the air. Have a good weekend all.
  16. @Ravelin and @Sanserit we have today had contact from a wonderful breeder in Banchory who has over 25 years of experience breeding labradors. She has a litter due in 3 weeks and we have been placed top of her list due to our reasons for wanting a pup. All pups will be KC registered and health checked. With parents elbow and hip scored etc. Very excited and within the £1000 to £1500 price range. Also to keep it weather related.. very breezy this evening with the odd sharp shower around. Looking at the trees they are definitely starting to change colours and the nights are closing in at what seems a rather quick rate.
  17. @CatchMyDrift nice work with those photos buddy.
  18. @Ravelin apparently not. never seen so many adverts for pup's before. It would seem that folk are bored and need something to pass the days away. And breeders are more than happy to charge. A friend had a puppy deposit paid start of March fir normal prices and then the week before collection was told the price is now double due to demand being so high. Its not just labs its across the board. And most of them are not KC registered either. Breads that would normally be £300-£400 are upwards of £1000. I can see a mass of pups and dogs needing new homes once folk are back to work full-time.. Anyways in weather news, we've had a few showers here today. Sunny intervals and various amounts of cloud. All in all not a bad day.
  19. Another beautiful morning here this morning only fly in the ointment is that pesky breeze. In other news, we have been talking over the last few months about introducing a new member to our family and jeez the price of a puppy wow whats happened here? Last time I looked labrador pups were £600 to £1000. Now £2000 to £3000.. ouch.
  20. @Sanserit I had blinds down before sun set as was being a grumpy old git (so mrs Snaw says). I just heard the rain lashing down onto the skylights.. but I've seen photo's of it and yes in winter that would have been Snaw sky..
  21. Wow what a difference this morning. Stunning blue skies a slight breeze and feels warmer. A good day for getting out and doing stuff.
