Let me get my ski’s ??. They really are quite poor. Well we will see reference easterly as it’s still a good way out but looks very good. But if they can’t get weather right within 5hrs I will hold back on this easterly for the moment but signs do look good.

Am I missing something here. The warning has updated and it says there is even a low likely hood of 5-10 cms to 150m and 2-5 to low levels in the east. Maybe mine has not updated yet? i think there could be a decent fall of snow here in the east. But it is marginal.

Meto updated their text forecast at 21.50 and it’s actually an upgrade for us here in the east. So we will see what happens.

Lowered it were. Well if it doesn’t snow it doesn’t snow. Was very marginal anyway. Onwards and upwards

Temp was due to go to 5 degrees then drop to 1 in the early hrs changing it to snow. But whether that actually happens or not is another thing. A bit like the EAsterly

Temp is due to go up as front approaches but quickly get cold again as front is pushing through changing it to snow. Will def start as rain. But it’s anybodys guess if it comes off

Angies bbc forecast shows a good bit of rain with back edge snow but national bbc shows a good bit of snow! Do they not get their data from the same place???? Conflicting wouldn’t be in it.

Yes it looks that way but BBC and meto are so at odds it’s bizarre! So confusing for people. Anyway next set of runs shortly and I think changes will start to gather momentum very soon

Yes I think there is a great chance tomorrow morning to maybe see a decent fall but not sure it will accumulate to much but here’s hoping. After that I think NW may return again before the NE/E arrives. Still wouldnt rule out s Greenland high either. Not even soldvon next week either as I think anything after t72 is up in the air short term speaking. But time will tell

I’m with you on that one. I’m basically taking all models with a pinch of salt at the mo. I don’t think they have a handle on this at all.

Where is this warning on met eireann for west ulster and north Connacht. I can’t see it anywhere? Maybe it’s the hangover.
