Every time I look out the window it's doing something different, starting and stopping with an occasional heavy burst, but not even settling on the cars.
-
Completely stopped here now. I dont think I'm going to bother wasting my time following this
-
Yeah? Only snowing on and off here in Clapham, the heavy bursts dont last long
-
It looks like London is in an unfortunate dry zone, too far south for the trains of ppn coming in from NE and too far north for the channel ppn
-
Starting and stopping here, not coming to much
-
Nothing in London, apart from the occasional flake.
Edit: oh wait, its just started
-
Haha, yr.no has constant snow for here from now until noon on Tuesday...I don't see that happening somehow!
-
How are things looking for London?
-
I'm guessing London is marginal again this time?
-
Poorest event ever. Snowed really heavily for hour last night but it only gave a light dusting on cars and roofs, nowhere else. This morning, not a trace of snow! Does that look like all for the foreseeable future?
-
Still only a very slight dusting on the cars, and its been snowing for hours. Such waste
-
Aw, such a waste of snow. Its absolutely bucketing down, would be great if the ground was dry
-
Snowing heavily now but it was sleeting and raining for so long that the place is soaked so theres no way that it will stick
-
The forecast was much clearer at this stage before the last event in January. I dont have a good feeling about this one at all, not for London anyway
-
It's still looking very marginal overall.
-
Simon Keeling isn't making much of this event for low levels. I think we're going to have a cold wet day/night.
-
Netweather has 9% risk for London tomorrow and Monday.
-
Meh, looks like rain for London city on that map. Not gonna get excited..
-
Just rain here. Didn't expect anything more
-
Snowshield in place over London on the BBC graphics
-
Slight thaw setting in here, but surfaces still have a good 4-6 inches. What a day yesterday was! Does it look like that's it for the week?
-
Today really was the main event, still lightly snowing after 10-12 hours of heavy snow! Around 6 inches everywhere. Is there more on the way? For once I'm kind of hoping it eases as I need to fly tomorrow night...
-
Snowing away nicely here now, anything that had thawed since friday is nicely covered up again
-
I just heard on the radio that some Heathrow flights for tomorrow are already cancelled due to expected snow. They must be sure about it?

So it seems this is a non event for London, just miserably cold with the occasional heavy snowfall that never seems to last longer than 3 minutes.
