  1. Storm moving away towards the north east. Whoever's in that direction is in for one hell of a storm!
  2. Storm passing over Nuneaton, with almost constant(!) lightning and heavy hail. It's also as black as night here, at the moment! EDIT: Make that torrential hail!
  3. We've had a couple of rumbles of thunder, but no lightning, and it's only raining slightly.
  4. I got woken up by a fairly weak storm, 15 minutes ago. It's now either died completely or moved off.
  5. The Met Office Rainfall RADAR shows the rain moving north eastwards, so I presume it's all moving in the same direction. That does mean we're unlikely to see any over us tonight as the storms coming up from Wiltshire are bypassing us.
  6. That's probably the storm I'm now watching to the south-east. It's another one putting on spectacular lightning displays - including a beautiful bolt that formed a 'U' shape out of the cloud. We've also got some moderate rainfall, now.
  7. That would be the one, yes. It has weaken somewhat, but it's still putting on a beautiful display. We've had a small amount of rain in the last 10 minutes, as well.
  8. The storm I'm seeing is skirting to the east of us, but is extremely active. I'm seeing multiple strokes from this one. It's truly amazing to watch
  9. There's currently a very active storm to the south of here - with frequent lightning, but as yet no thunder.
  10. Pitch black here with moderate rainfall, frequent lightning and what looks like some rotation in the cloud. Anyone else noticed that? EDIT: Frequent lightning with multiple strokes. This storm's putting on a superb display
  11. I can concur with this. It's very very black towards the south west and if the Met Office's rainfall RADAR is anything to go by, we're about to get a battering! No thunder and lightning, though EDIT: It's just started raining.
  12. We have a storm to the south west of us, which I think will be coming through here. It's producing thunder at a rate of about one rumble every 30 seconds or so, but only the odd visible lightning bolt. It's still extremely muggy and unpleasant...
  13. Very warm, muggy, night. I've just seen what appeared to be a distant flash of lightning to my north east.
  14. Another storm's passing us, here. The lightning's more intermittant and the rain very light, but it's getting very dark here - more like 4am than 10am
  15. I got woken up as few minutes ago by the sound of thunder, here. It had also been raining, though not all that hard and it's stopped now anyway. The lightning seems to be coming at a rate of about 1 a minute, but it does have little spirts of more intense activity.
  16. There's a storm currently passing to the east of us - over Leicester maybe - which is producing some thunder and the odd distant lightning flash. It's also getting very dark here, at the moment
  17. A storm's approaching us from the south east. It's producing fairly heavy rain and some tunder, but I've not seen any lightning, yet. It's horribly muggy, at the moment, as well
  18. We had a few rumbles around 9:30pm, but it's gone very quiet since then Ah well, maybe tomorrow...
  19. I was rather surprised when it started snowing here at about 4:30pm and the sky out to the east is looking rather threatening again now.
  20. We've had some light snow here, this morning. Needless to say, it hasn't been settling.
  21. A heavyish graupel shower has started here We'll see the doom merchants start on about this being the start of an Ice Age, if things don't warm up soon
  22. Snowing here (and showed at around 7:30, so I'm reliably informed), but nothing like hard enough to settle.
  23. We've just had/are having a light graupel shower, here.
  24. This has reached us in Nuneaton, now. We've had some fairly heavy snow and there's a thin covering on the ground.
