Metcheck were forecasting light snow for the Bradford area on Tuesday, last night, but backtracked on that this morning to say it'll be mostly dry and about 4 degrees warmer, instead.
Just had a small storm pass over us here, in south Bradford, and appears to be moving north east. It's not very active, though - only one lightning bolt every couple of minutes or so.
I saw that cloud from here There was a rather nasty looking shower passing through Bradford at lunchtime, which dropped one lightning bolt and a hell of a lot of heavy rain I also drove through some torrential rain as I drive to Huddersfield along the M62 around the same time.
I can confirm that. We have a shower passing close to Low Moor area of Bradford at the moment. It was quite active for a while, but seems to have died off a bit now.
I got woken up sometime during the night by a loud rumble of thunder - sometime between 3am and 4am, I think. We've had a very weak storm, with some extremely heavy rain, for the last 30-40 minutes or so.
We've a small storm passing over us, at the moment. It's a fairly weak affair, though, with only limited amounts of lightning and heavyish rainfall. Very dark here, mind!
