Hiya, I can't speak for Cambridgeshire (obviously), but it chucked it down in Watford for a large part of last night! It's a cloudy 10.6ºc, ATM.

16.4ºc at 03:45. Clear skies, but with the usual clag in the upper atmosphere! Rob W (back from a sticky night at the print centre!)

Starting to get rather uncomfortable here! The nearest weather station to here - Northholt - is 27ºc with 54% humidity. Seems to be far more clag than yesterday, too!

It was more pleasent than after the sun burnt through the cloud in late afternoon. Fortunately, the trains I was travelling up to Manchester on were for the most part fitted with working air conditioning. As for sitting in pub gardens, I never visited one all day (I'll PM you the reason why - too to say on here)!

No rain, but it was awfully cloudy in Manchester, today! It only started to clear in mid-afternoon. Wasted my time getting a Factor 30 sunblocker - no sun for it to block :?

Morning all, It's 18.5ºc here, in Watford, with no wind to speak of. There's no cloud cover either, unless you count the high level clag that always accompanies Summer Highs - I have orange stars over Watford! Rob W (off to Manchester for the day )

It's 29ºc at Northolt, so is probably about the same here. It's crystal clear up there, with no cloud whatsoever! And the breeze that was present yesterday and first thing this morning appears to have died down, for the most part Rob W (praying for rain or an end to this heat or both!)

It's 4am! The temperature's 19.5ºc and the sky is clear - although I did see what looked like patchy Altocumulus cloud as I walked in the door.

Don't raise your hopes too high! Those clouds passed here (probably) and didn't do anything, so I doubt they'll do anything there (famous last words )! Location - Watford Temperature - 30ºc Clouds - mostly Cirrus Wind - E 15mph Humidity - 35% UV Index - 5 Precipitation - I wish!! Time - 15:42

33 ºc and what looks like some more substantial cloud building from the southwest. The wind's picked up a bit more too! Early signs of something happening?

Me thinks you'll really need it tomorrow, MSL! Temeratures are expected to peak tomorrow! No such luxury for me, unfortunately I'm a night worker and if you think working in this heat's bad enough, try sleeping in it :cry: regards, Rob W (who's thinking of buying himself some sort of air-conditioning unit for the next heatwave!)

31.7 ºc, here. There's thin high cloud and that breeze that was present yesterday evening, but died down overnight, is back and looks a little stronger today

Currently (at 03:20) it's 17.9 ºc and clear. We did have a light shower at around midnight, but it was shortlived, unfortunately

Mostly high cloud here. There's a bit of a breeze picked up in the last hour or so. The current temperature is 26.1 ºc.

Can't be absolutely certain this is accurate, but I have 34.6 ºC on my temperature gauge :shock: I've also got a slight breeze here, too! The cloud consists of the usual photo-chemical clag and a few bits of cirrus!

Mine isn't anywhere as elaborate as that, but it is in the shade. Showing 33.5 ºC now.
