It's always said we won't get snow here Chris - I'm just by leasowe sand hills so could wave at you prob - but we actually do ok for snow

Going quite dark here in prenton and its still very very cold

It was snowing in Hoylake, Wirral about an hour ago. Got to Wallasey and nothing

I'm just about the leave the office and lock up the gates - am dreading it cos it sounds awful out there. Hope I can lock the gates ok in this wind.

I actually think the best placed for Tuesdays snow are places in the West and South of the region, Liverpool, Runcorn, Altringham.

Julie, a great place to experience storms is Oldfield Road in Heswall.. you will not find a windier place in Wirral (not even New Brighton/West Kirby).. it's exposed, on the coast, and high up. I have stood there in the past and nearly been taken on my feet a few times in normal storms.
Will have to try it - lol. Looks like I'm in for a sleepless night - Our houses faces the sea and theres nothing in between. We have thought the windows would come in before now !!

Will it be bad for us SP? I've seen reports of it being bad up north and down south and us in the middle getting off fairly lightly compared to other regions but then others had us down for the worst! confused lol

Reasonable but by no means certain, there is a very good chance that somewhere will see those snow totals but areas can change, see the Met office updated warning tomorrow lunch time to see if the threat is still there.

Think you are right to be honest. Was expecting it to be A bit worse than this.
By the way, Friday morning looks interesting in terms of snow prospects, we often do okay from those sort of setups here, but not getting my hopes up.

Yes it was a lovely day -went for a walk with the hubby and ended up in the pub. Walked home and got in just in time before it rained!! Yay!
