We got icy snow/sleet but it has covered everywhere - even the dual carriageway. Hubby just come in and said the roads are very very slippy even with that slight covering.

It has virtually stopped in Prenton, Wirral. Although the sky still looks full of snow, wonder if we will get more????

Am in work in Prenton, Wirral and it has snowed all morning. Anyone know how long it will last?

I'm only in wallasey so we will get the same as Birkenhead hopefully. Fingers crossed anyhow.Looking at the radar at present i expect some snow around 9:30ish

My app shows us getting a battering from 3 until early hours with light snow this morn. It's been so accurate all week

Snow in wallasey - fast but tiny

There's nothing to shield us from the sea so any winds and cold coming in from the sea hit us full on. None at the back of the house which obviously faces the other way. Leasowe Road has started to go white so the small flecks are obviously having some effect. At least we have had some action today - I'm just being greedy loleither, snowdome, snow shield.. take your pick.. ah yeh, it must have melted then refroze... Same here too, but only tiny.
Light here for me tooIm in New Brighton and it is just light snow at the moment.

is that snowdome or snowshield? We are just getting tiny specs now. Got icicles all around the ledge in the middle of the house. Lived here for 14 years and never had that before.The west wirral snowdome is in full operation now... nowt nada..

We should be getting more in Wallasey then. Leasowe Road was going white 10 mins ago.Its still giving it large in birkenhead
