7 degrees Celsius here, feeling fresh, it'll need to be colder than for snow...so far rain showers and occasional sun in Exeter...lets hope we all get snow Monday and it settles -
Good morning! Well the charts are looking a little more favourable for the southwest (not so much for Cornwall and West Devon)....I hope this changes and it just goes slightly more west! But I'm very please with the graphs this morning....

Has the snow got something against the south west?....my hopes are Monday now and maybe a very light sprinkle on Saturday in Devon 😊

Thankyou SnowMad! I agree with you, I think we'll see a flutter on Sunday and maybe something more significant next week! I just hope it's not next weekend as I will be working that weekend and I've been lucky in that I've not needed to work any weekends for two months, it'll be just my luck!! lol I've got a feeling there's something big coming our way in the next few weeks, I can feel it

Oh yes and I would be camping up there to see it if I'd already passed my driving test but going for third time lucky the end of march I Just have a feeling we are ALL going to see something big before this winters out...I'm not the smartest person but this whole SWW things seems significant so it's just got to affect us even if we live in the milder south west!

Weather forecast just showed rain in our region on Monday...turning to snow as it goes towards the South East. I can't say anymore as the last post I made about being dissapointed about missing the snow in our region was returned with a not so nice comment! I am a little dissapointed but hopefully it'll change and there's always the rest of the week for us.

Well Thursday looks like it's going to be a very snowy west! If the models are true the east and southeast will be covered!

No we didn't (I live in Devon) It was Somerset and Wiltshire....The only place that may have had a light sprinkling is Dartmoor which has very high elevation....I am in the same boat as you....All we've had is rain and lots of it....

I am so dissapointed in the weather models this morning, it doesn't look they'll be any snow really in Devon!! Grrrr Like we really need more rain.....Also metcheck are saying milder conditions to push in on Wednesday....I give up!!

On the weather charts for snow risk it's got even less chance for snow on Saturday night/Sunday morning I knew it! I hope so much it changes because this weather is minging!! We don't need any more dull, cool, rainy weather, we want snowwwwwwwww

Hi I keep hearing people talk about keeping an eye on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday weather?! I'm confused as on the new weather charts on Monday there doesn't appear to be any precipitation on those days apart from the far southeast? There's people talking about huge snowfalls in the southwest that we've not seen for decades...am I on another planet and missing something? Ill look forward to any replies... I'm a newbie by the way so I'm still learning on charts etc

We will get snow on Sunday morning maybe and evening and for sure next week The town/city I live in is in a valley which tends to trap cold air in (like in January 2011)

Totally agree I hope we get snow! I've got a really good feeling that at some point in the next month or so we are going to get a big snow event....maybe more...
