  1. Thursday is a horror on GFS, washout and 11 degrees
  2. FAX for Monday bit of a downgrade? could be wet day, no trough on yesterdays
  3. tomorrow too, FAX looks way out compared to bbc, GFS and UK met, expecting it to be wrong and heavy rain all day, looks like a decent day on fax
  4. Spring looks like starting around 1st May, maybe last day of April for SE
  5. Frost tonight too, will be warmer in 8-9 months, raging SW'lys double digit temps feeling balmy
  6. Neil, next year is a holiday, falls in holidays with the bank holiday on the 21st, schools go back 28th Aye, snowshine, many days in Jan and Feb felt warmer, as 12 degrees will feel much warmer in winter than on 22 April due to muggy airstream from the S/SW
  7. As thought this in for the day, non stop train from Durham area
  8. Sept probably best month, think most agree about horrible June
  9. been bigging up tomorrows washout, think non weather folk may be caught out, they'll just assume it's going to be 'nice' from now until Sept tomorrow could be wettest day of the year for N of this region
  10. Josh, the models again and forecasts underestimated the rain again, umpteenth time this year, but rarely other way round, often gets worse heading back west from King's Bromley which was dry, to Rugeley/Stafford to the NW wet
  11. definitely to me anyway feels a lot colder than it would with 12 degrees and windy in Dec to Feb, which would be a hairdryer warm wind and likely wet
  12. looking vile on GFS, especially from Mon 22nd, cooler than many days in Jan and Feb
  13. could be potentially vile tomorrow in Staffs, Cheshire streamer looks definitely possible
  14. Aye, usual April setup not happened, high pressure to our north, May normally same
  15. Chris, at least you will be dry, S Coast probably best place to be off NW'ly, just cumulus infill making it dull, here we're looking at a full washout on Monday, then a mainly wet week
  16. Umpteen times now when forecasting of rain has been miles off, yesterday was meant to be the north and Scotland, but was over this area, today was meant to be a patchy mostly dry warm front, not a washout
  17. Aye more like a January feel, tropical with wind and no sun, tomorrow too but wet
  18. the switch should be starting soon, meaning on average sunny days are warmer than dull/wet ones apart from nights/early mornings Nov to March without doubt warmer if wet, but feel from May to Oct cooler when wet over sunny
  19. North sea mist! first of the season, horrible wind too
  20. I know 3 on forum that will like it, footballer 7 spelled backwards, same name as a former world snooker champion, and something from fallout
