  1. thought it was Arthur? but one of worst to hit here, if not named, then worse than many named storms
  2. Ridiculously windy, windiest day of year certainly, green leaves everywhere, tomorrow looks even worse with higher chance of showers
  3. Just wait for lockdown over/stage 3 from early July, rain for days on end
  4. happened last few summers, warm spike timed for Tue/Wed, then cooler, then warm spike due again around Tues same as northerly topplers, timed for Fri or Sat, topple Sun/Mon
  5. cloud bank further north than yesterday, here it brightened up around 12.30, cloud bank could see to my north, yesterday could see blue skies to my south
  6. Not nice today, rain has been stuck here, slowly moving SW I think
  7. wait for lockdown easing, rain will be here worse than ever to balance out lockdown dry spell
  8. horrible day here, not seen sun at all, some days were warmer/sunnier in March
  9. Thing it it's May, will nearly always see the E'ly idea winning out over Atlantic air or true heat, least likely is zonality
  10. 3rd morning on the bounce with completely clear skies, but guessing like last 2 days, full cloud by 10am lasting all day until 8pm
  11. FI, but more interesting is the number of fines to be issued for the 3 days after this day
  12. hoping due to time of year GFS is wrong, Atlantic weather rare now, not as though its Nov to Feb, or Jul/Aug
  13. Unusual for the Atlantic in charge now, April and May, early June, Atlantic air seems rare
  14. Aye could see cold air coming in around half six, clearance is the cold air
  15. Area that may see snow flurries tomorrow, Leek/Thornecliffe and Flash
  16. Aye, like this day 9th May 2011 at 9pm, @ajpoolshark? dunno his name now, but he remembers
  17. eh? just looked and thought you were in Didcot? can see storm clouds to my W/NW
  18. August though is very troughy, Atlantic dominated month, but weak jet, so slower systems
  19. Going for one of best summers ever, lockdown summer so 30 degrees many times to be reached, early June first time
  20. N Midlands torrential showers, hail too rattling through
  21. Shame summery spell over, closest I'll get to seeing snow, really looks like it's snowing here, blossom coming off tree
  22. 18 months away then! this is for May 2020, full lockdown, my prediction 12.9, 31mm
