  1. roll on warmth now! can't be doing with freezing cold with absolutely no chance of snow
  2. coldest day possibly today waiting for bus at Lichfield, that place like an ice box
  3. may seem guesswork, but as a mild believer I won the winter CET comp! suppose fairly easy though, just go for mild! I'm one of the biggest mild winter believers on here
  4. week of 27C no higher, then maybe a break, then another week or so mid to late 20's
  5. Jesus, old thread had to check to see if I'd posted, on opening page
  6. GFS 12Z looking pants! E'ly breeze no cold or warmth, much preferred 06Z which was showing early taste of Spring
  7. much more likely now though, E'lys, probably weakening of the PV, E'lys/N'lys even more common in April/May
  8. Oliver, was Dec 3rd no good? was great event here, quick thaw but cannot expect much nowadays, any lying snow is a bonus
  9. models looking grim though, E'ly winds with average temps, very little sun and definitely no snow
  10. first falling snow I've seen, but moved north now, 3rd Dec of course was the best but all at night
  11. right! no moaning ever again from rain/warm fans, just had warmest/rainy February, what more do you want
  12. doubt anything like Dec 3rd, which was very good here, low levels could see wet snow, high levels settling snow
  13. 7.3C and 78mm, much bigger chance of E'ly winds, less of Atlantic
  14. Friday has a chance of 200m plus for wet snow, GFS too far north, UKMO maybe okay for higher levels members like Kasim Awan I'd expect to see a few cms of snow fri into sat
  15. donald, still dark here 6-6.30am, lighter for a time, but then one of my least favourite nights of the year, spring forward, dark again 6-6.30am
  16. must be due a warm May, or at least one warm/hot spell, 30C in May? should be possible now, if not then we're surely due a late 20's day or two
  17. Aye folks but another soaker wet through day for me, on Thursday (leap day) to Lichfield/King's Bromley, risked trench foot Thursday just gone, couldn't avoid walking through flood water
  18. looking generally for warmth now, but wouldn't say no to snaw! and into March, it doesn't have to be as cold as it does in Dec to mid Feb, this could produce wet snow to low levels now
  19. Spring sprung already before today, first appearance of ice cream van, convective cumulus, signs of summer, now who will win Wimbledon?
