  1. 12Z on GFS, we need shift south for the big day for snow, wet and windy showing, after Xmas day though, deepest FI, but snow chances being shown, but EC as yet not playing ball
  2. feels much like Spring has sprung yes, 16 degrees with you, where's that?
  3. not really, 90's were very snowy, maybe too young to remember 80's, sure they were snowier than 90's though, for low level Midlands
  4. normal 2000+ day really, chance of heat record or 2 going today, maybe for Dec in some areas, or for 19th, unreal warmth out there miss my cold/snowy 1990's winters
  5. Definitely guessing GFS will come inline with the others on the 00Z's, probably a trend towards them on 18Z, if GFS showing cold, other big guns showing mild, then mild it is
  6. My guess, poor for south, snow fest for north, could be looking at 11 degrees SW'lys here, NE'lys Manchester northwards
  7. worst cold spell probably ever now ended, hope not too warm, betty swollocks days, tropical balmy air, equivalent of 30+ degrees in summer somewhere I expect some kind of heat record to go, maybe not in Midlands
  8. Agree, suppose everyone is different, but I find cold/frost much worse for colds and coughs, rarely get one wnen it's mild, if I do it goes quick this one arrived with the frost on 7th Dec, hoping from tomorrow night it will go quickly
  9. SW breezes coming in now, way before any front, gone are the snowy breakdowns of 90's for the south, last half decent one was 25th Jan 2013, but nothing on 90's
  10. and the NW Midlands, just a few flakes and tiniest of dustings, here it turned less cold on 11th with a thaw, was kind of 2 spells here, 7th to 10th, then 14th to 17th
  11. or mine! looking on archives, i'd say around 25 degrees and dry
  12. Well it's certainly not been snowy! people who like mild be careful what they wish for, RAIN! very unpleasant/flooding risk, on bbc website 5 days double digit temps, but those days won't be dry, and likely windy, even gales only advantage to it is, if anyone has cough/cold or flu, will get better much quicker, at least does with me
  13. going of yesterdays EC likely, for us members in the south we need shift south, can see battleground over the north
  14. Aye, there are a few on here, not sure if they're trolling or not, most now on ignore, one of them same name as a former snooker champion, and named after a footballer 7 backwards!
  15. looked cool for a white Xmas! but looked at ppn charts dry? something not right there, as this is classic rain to snow setup
