  1. below zero maxes nearly everywhere, dry as we're in no mans land, polar low too far north, Azores low looks to be heading South
  2. definitely for Scotland, no doubt there! it's southern UK, questions remain
  3. BBC weather for week ahead on website, goes with yesterdays 12Z EC, milder from the SW
  4. Much better EC, UKMO though coldest air dosen't reach the south, looks cold enough though
  5. Calling it here, storm Antoni on Dec 11th, flooding, damaging winds, 13 degrees in some areas
  6. Not just temps but rain/flooding, I went for 7.4C and 135mm in Dec CET, may not be far off, who knows, chilly dry first few days though
  7. For some areas like mine though, could snow chances be increasing? certainly higher uppers are okay for snow off fronts/sliders, -2/-3 can be okay, unlike -10 for convective
  8. Looks just about okay for Cheshire Gap streamer, cold could do with being further South though, but great GFS 12Z with lows dotted around in cold air
  9. I'd rather northerly! E'lys are not always cold, like next few days still fairly mild before northerly arrives on Wed, FI low on EC, looks very snowy for a time, but too far north for the south to avoid a thaw
  10. What about hoar frost/rime? looks like freezing fog too for fun of course! but snowless
  11. Reached here too, great day, but S/SE and W Midlands had over a foot, 10cms or so here
  12. Agree with frontal snow! uppers of -2/-3 normally enough in cold enough air, but convective snow at this low level area needs to be below -10 for proper non wet snow, -6 to -9 can produce wet snow
  13. Not bad here, but far from great, especially when SK4 got buried
  14. models starting to now pick up the very wet weather due Sun to Tues, hope not as wet as Nov, away from the NW though, washout conditions possible
