  1. Prone to that here, but won't get it when it's needed, will definitely cool things down
  2. Aye, have to agree, hoping it is the case, but expecting a mega hot GFS 00Z tomorrow, heat 35 degrees lingering into Tues, with a slightly cooler 29 on Wed
  3. just faint hopes now that Sunday might be the last vile day! maybe wishful thinking but models apart from GFS going for cooler on Monday
  4. looks troughy, but bbc/meto going for full sun and yucky 31 degrees? would have thought cloudier off this, maybe more luck on Monday
  5. Hoping for a good EC! best we can hope for is a Sunday night semi breakdown, shown by bbc and meto!
  6. That is deep FI, expect still some kind of heat! models tend to sweep heat away too quickly,
  7. This looks to be much worse than last time, going to be a week, we may if we're lucky see things improve slowly next Wed, I reckon high here then of 28 degrees
  8. Another horror 00Z, but will probably be right, still 32 degrees upto Tuesday, after 4 days of 35, red warning so likely to be issued from Fri to Mon/Tues for North Midlands
  9. Great to see heat dome moving away! 12Z EC, warmest uppers of the week here, but shouldn't be as bad as mid July, when heat dome reached us
  10. UKMO though 'looks' a bit better? cannot tell but looks to be only late 20's as seems like a trough over us! assuming though GFS has this right and will be a repeat of mid July, and a red warning likely issued for NW Midlands
  11. Unreal! no doubt upgraded to red nearer the time for Stafford area! hope it isn't as warm as expected too, meto only going for 30 here Thu to Sat, no higher I hope Never wanted a return to the Atlantic as much as this! and I hate Atlantic weather
  12. Those who don't like the heat, let's look for breakdown, Next Monday looking better, similar to today, then brief NW airstream before Atlantic dominates zonal style in FI, so after this chart, lets hope it is the end of 30+ in this area
  13. To me this look cooler? higher dew points maybe, but hopefully 30 degree heat gone
  14. Temps off this? 29/30? heat dome looks well away thankfully! 38 degrees can stay where it belongs! South
  15. Perfect summers day today! and next 2 days, but then going horrid
  16. Hoping it stays away! dosen't look too bad at this stage, the last nightmare 17-19 July, the plume/heat dome 850's 20-24 degrees was over us
  17. looks worse on every model run, GFS eventually getting there, now 33-34 degrees, nearer the time 38-39 likely to be shown, with a red warning
  18. Hopefully looks cooler to me on 14th? even 12th we start to pick up a N sea flow, hoping the mid to late 30's will be just for Central S/W
