  1. BBC mentioning north sea mist! be welcomed this time
  2. Will correct soon, GFS again going for 31 here and 30 on Tues, Yuk!
  3. Guessing bbc/meto massively underestimating temps for Mon/Tues, only 25 and 21, GFS going for 31 and 30, bbc website though tends to correct day before
  4. As probably expected GFS 12Z extends heat to Tues with a filthy 30 degrees here, expect the heat warning to be extended to 23:59 on Tues
  5. GFS been disagreeing keeping us in filthy 31 degrees and sunny all day Monday, breakdown comes on Tues
  6. 4 more days of filth! seems too long, but hopefully only 27 or so on Tues
  7. Think we will see alterations from bbc and meto for Monday, with their 25/26 degrees, nearer the time the heat warning will be extended to Monday with temps above 30 degrees GFS 00Z I have found most accurate of the lot
  8. Prone to that here, but won't get it when it's needed, will definitely cool things down
  9. Aye, have to agree, hoping it is the case, but expecting a mega hot GFS 00Z tomorrow, heat 35 degrees lingering into Tues, with a slightly cooler 29 on Wed
  10. just faint hopes now that Sunday might be the last vile day! maybe wishful thinking but models apart from GFS going for cooler on Monday
  11. looks troughy, but bbc/meto going for full sun and yucky 31 degrees? would have thought cloudier off this, maybe more luck on Monday
  12. Hoping for a good EC! best we can hope for is a Sunday night semi breakdown, shown by bbc and meto!
  13. That is deep FI, expect still some kind of heat! models tend to sweep heat away too quickly,
  14. This looks to be much worse than last time, going to be a week, we may if we're lucky see things improve slowly next Wed, I reckon high here then of 28 degrees
  15. Another horror 00Z, but will probably be right, still 32 degrees upto Tuesday, after 4 days of 35, red warning so likely to be issued from Fri to Mon/Tues for North Midlands
  16. Great to see heat dome moving away! 12Z EC, warmest uppers of the week here, but shouldn't be as bad as mid July, when heat dome reached us
  17. UKMO though 'looks' a bit better? cannot tell but looks to be only late 20's as seems like a trough over us! assuming though GFS has this right and will be a repeat of mid July, and a red warning likely issued for NW Midlands
  18. Unreal! no doubt upgraded to red nearer the time for Stafford area! hope it isn't as warm as expected too, meto only going for 30 here Thu to Sat, no higher I hope Never wanted a return to the Atlantic as much as this! and I hate Atlantic weather
