  1. Yep, days are really getting on the long side now, it's still pretty much light at 9pm now where I live. Incidently Wunderground.com has Civil twilight as between 0-6 degrees below the horizon, nautical twilight as 6-12 degrees below the horizon and astronomical twilight as 12-18 degrees below the horizon. Meaning complete darkness is where the sun is anything below 18 below. Twilight I may be reading it wrong though!
  2. Weather: After a cool cloudy morning, the afternoon has seen brighter skies. :o Temperature: 15c (59f) Wind: N 9mph Relative Humidity: 68% Pressure: 1020, rising Sunset: 20:26
  3. Weather: A warm, still, sultry evening with the sun setting. Temperature: 20.9c Wind: N 9mph Pressure: 1021 hPa rising Visibility: 22km Humidity: 38% Sunset: 19:53

The sun getting ready to set at about 19:15 BST on the 1st of April 2007. Sunset time is at 19:30 on this day with another two and a half more months of evenings getting lighter. It was a nice end to the day and i'm glad I got the sun in all its glory. The picture was taken out of my bedroom window as well.

  11. Weather: Warm, sunny with not a cloud in the sky, and in no way excessively warm as there is quite a cool breeze. Perfect. Temperature: 15.5c Wind: East 13mph Pressure: 1028hPa Visibilty: 10km Humidity: 73% Sunset: 19:32
  12. Weather: Bright with hazy sunshine. Breezy as well. Temperature: 10.5c Wind: NE 15mph Pressure: 1026hPa rising Humidity: 75% Visibilty: 12km Sunset: 19:30
  13. So what was the official March 2007 CET in the end? and how does it compare to the average?
  14. Weather: Not a bad start. Sunshine, albeit hazy. Temperature: 10.5c Wind: NNE 14mph Visibilty: 18km Pressure: 1020hPa rising Sunset: 19:29
  15. I think its safe to say the low minima during the clear spells such as during the second week have kept the March CET down to more "respectable" levels. Because for some days during daylight hours it was a different story! Jan 07 has a similar CET but the daytime max was nowhere as high, one assumes the minima kept the CET up then.
  16. I would actually quite like the CET to be 6.9c, then we could say officially that January was warmer than March!!
  17. Weather: Grey, cold, breezy and drizzly - one might also say atmospheric! Temperature: 6.6c Wind: NNW 16mph Pressure: 1016hPa falling Sunset: 18:18
