Well the shower/s that we’re building quite quickly just dissipated around me and only remarkably delivered some light rain . Now we have almost clear blue skies and a distant shower can be seen , I really thought a storm was coming through here but it was not to be today , So far at least . -

After a fine and clear start the cloud soon bubbled up and we had a shower again develop pretty much overhead , This was not particularly heavy and took an age to clear , Then for the last couple of hours we have had quite clear conditions with warm sunshine, I see on the radar and looking south a storm is brewing and surely coming our way . Took these pics of the approaching storm and the retreating blue skies just now . -

Hi Sorry for the late reply , yesterday we took a couple of hours trip to look at a Canal Boat that my father in law has just brought and is coming to live on for a year , He is coming over from Australia so wanted us to check everything was ok . We was on a walk to see the surrounding areas when I noticed the storm coming in so we made a dash for the boat and eventually back to home . This was a different storm to the one you had but it was a right hum dinger as was the one you had apparently. I hope your feeling better my wife gets that sometimes and especially when storms are about . Here are some pics of our trip Also a couple more from that approaching storm which grew right over us . Nice to get out of the house after 3 months isolating . -

Steady rain for most of the day but nothing especially heavy , The lockdown must be affecting my kids as they decided to go in to the garden this afternoon and build a den to stay in and shield from the rain , I was quite impressed that they succeeded . -

Nice Shower followed by rainbow which was very unusual I know it sounds silly but it had very narrow bands of the same colour underneath thicker bands something I’ve never witnessed before ( Picture doesn’t show this properly ). Now we have the squall moving through which is quite impressive. -
