This is weird. Gonna get technical now... The Big orange blob in the channel seems to have reversed direction and is heading inland now towards the Sussex coast! It was going due west right along the channel but it seems has gone in reverse almost.Very light snow looking from my window for the nowcast . looks like its heading inland

Would say that's about right. How close to the seafront are you? If it snows on your seafront before it reaches me then and only then will I get excited.
I have been in over a foot of snow for 2 periods over the past 5 weeks so can't complain too much...
...yes i can
well thats just bragging mister
I'll be in Falmer tomorrow until the snow hits then I'm off home by car

Any idea on timing? Are we thinking it'll kick of on the south coast say Brighton say 5pm?

Evening
Home to find it is very cold already - currently -1.5c with a DP of -2.5c
Lots of black ice on the side roads leading into home and still plenty of snow where the sun didn’t get to it.
There sure was. I went to Cranleigh to pick up a new car (new to us), rear wheel drive. Had a few issues with grip and only just managed to avoid ploughing a field. Would have been a bit embarrassing

Just looked at NW's forecast, for Bungay, for tomorrow (as the Beccles station has stuck at 3C and rain!); 3C max, fresh ESE wind and a nice, round 0% chance of snow...Let the excitement continue!
Brace brace brace
