Its -1.1c in Princetown. No snow yet but its not forecast until 9pm here.... Anyone think next friday could actually happen? -
Now casting. Verry sunny, bit of cloud. Still only 0.7c which could make things intresting later.

Well put! Surely we can't be throwing in the towel after one run? Particulary after the rollercoaster over the last few days! The trend from what I can see is showing cold. On a personal note, we in Princetown have had 2 days of snow this winter when it was never forecast so the models are a very good guide, the detail is out of the window!!

It does feel bitter out there... 4.3c and steadily falling. Not bad for west devon! Think the eluavation helps... Plenty of rain though. P.S Princetown, Devon 369m asl

I seem to remember, think it was 2009 that a battleground situation over the A38 in Devon was forecast only hours before. Caused 8 hours of traffic on telegraph hill because nobody knew it was coming. Just goes to show how unpredictable things can be sometimes. Fingers crossed for the same, minus the traffic! Clouds looking a little snowy. BBC and Netweather have some snow forecast over higher ground in Dartmoor tomorrow into Monday morning.

Just read Gibbys report in the model forum, he seems to saying little or nothing in the way of snow for the west.... I am no forecaster and have limited knowledge of the charts. Penny for any more experienced thoughts? 2 pennies if its really good! Ian Speak of the devil!! You read my mind Gibby!!

No accumulation but probably because they dare not! I wold say its difficult to predict up here, could be a cm, could be a foot!! More looking forward to next week TBH by the look of the charts. Going over the Prince in a min, chunk is back from oz so going for a pint.
