And that speck happens to be over Princetown! I guess we will see! Very calm here now. A total of 91mm of rain and 52mph highest gust today.... -
We are up to 85.2mm of rain so far today. Just sounds like a sprinkler is permanently spraying on my window now!!

I have been in Princetown 3 years now and I know we are prone to wind and rain, but I have never seen anything like what is happening out there right now.... This is worse than St Judes for here.... Currently 77.2mm of rain recorded today....

Thanks for the explanation.... I am not sure how it all works!! Perhaps it is wrong then!! I have to say though, been hammering down all day so whatever the totals, its definitely wet!!

I go by the weather station at Postbridge which is a mile down the road as mine does not have a rain gauge. They use a Davis Vantage Pro 2 apparently... Not sure if that good??!! Here is the link http://www.dartcom.co.uk/weather/ Its up to 36.6mm now.

So far today we have had 33.6mm of rain and highest gust has been 44mph. Currently 8.6c out there...

Its been an very windy and wet day here! According to the weather station down the road we have had 55.2mm of rain today. Lots of flooding on the moors. Could do with some cold air with all this rain!

I know what you mean.... I saw this huge wasp like thing trying to get in the window yesterday which I thought very strange for the time of year!!

Netweather finally has the snow risk back!! Yes, its very small and yes, its in FI.... But its still there!!

Getting very bored of this dull cloudy rubbish now! All I can see on met office is little clouds, all day and night for the next 5 days!

Thanks GTLTW.... I was under the impression that the pink was snowfall and it just seems strange that the pink surrounds the UK but does not go over it.... Gettign a bit board of dull and cloud now!!

I have a question, if anyone can help it would be great! I have been looking at the NAE charts below.... Can anyone tell me why there appears to be snow all around the UK and not over it? There is a chance I am being really thick here, but I can't figure it out!!

Yeah, it seems to be changing a lot, had us down for heavy snow at one point. Guess we will see closer to the time!
