    Metcheck has changed forecast from heavy snow (6z) to sleet all day (12z) xc weather taken a step back to so I guess the GFS12z not as good for West NI

    I'm hoping the front doesn't move through too quickly ie before the cold air arrives here in the west leaving us with lots of sleet. Is that a possibility? Or am I talking gibberish?!

    Didn't see any forecast this morning only online. I'm in Derry. I'll watch later and keep fingers crossed. Just hope it moves a wee tiny bit further West.

    I still think its only going to affect the eastern half of NI sadly. Met office still showing rain for here but snow for Belfast .
