    I was also wondering where everyone had gone, with news reports of strong wind and tidal surges in the east it's surprisingly quiet here!

    Yeah been snowing here for last 15 min. Way too wet to settle but not complaining.

    From what I've seen we may get a few more seasonal days temp wise over the next. 10 days but the main model forum seems to be ignoring us only focusing on the S of England ?

    Temps must have dropped. Just had heavy hail shower here. Wind have definitely dropped.

    It's worse than not good. It's bad! Looking at precipitation the snow just floats past a few hundred miles north!

    Aye that's some downgrade.! How can there be that big a swing in the models?

    From what I can see everything shifted East this morning. Still coldish here but not as much snow as was forecast yesterday.

    I'm gutted! Not a mm of snow to be seen. I know it can be dangerous and some people arent enjoying the snow but I'm well and truly hacked off now. I was kind of hoping the forecasts might have got it wrong and we got in on some of the action but not to be.

    Ronan I'm not holding my breath. Met office still only forecasting rain sleet here. Just out in my car and as I was driving temperature went up a degree. Not good!!

    Kept awake all night by crazy strong wind. Would have liked some snow, but hey ho it was never forecast to make it this far. A bit of heavy rain today me thinks. Just hope the roof stays on!

    Well Beaufort I'm in the red warning zone (Strabane) in theory! With an amber warning from the Met office for snow and a forecast from the same Met office showing heavy rain! So I guess someone will get it right!! (it won't be sunny!!).

    Everyone is getting really excited, but anything I have seen still points to rain/sleet for most of us except for the far north east.

    I've been watching various forecasts this evening and sorry to say I think here in west will miss precipitation it seems to be all over eastern side.

    Looking at various forecasts looks like Belfast in line for snow on Fri/Sat and west missing out again or maybe light snow at best. Flipping typical of this winter!!
