Way to warm for snow in Derry.

Snowing now in Derry but as Ronan says front nearly passed over now. So too little too late.

4 degrees in Derry at moment. Think it'll be snow on hills

I was just going on the fact that no forecasts I'd seen showed snow ( the met office have yellow warning for snow but forecast rain ) But as you say anything seems to be possible at the moment!

Sitting in Derry, alternating between rain, heavy sleet and hail.

Very fine snow here no big flakes but keeps coming down. Roads white over and icy.

Yep I'm in Limavady at the moment and you can see it's definitely snowing on coleraine mountain. Heavy sleet in Limavady.

Well if there's anything white falling from the sky for more than 30 seconds it is something to look forward too this winter!!

Meteociel precip charts and XC weather are showing heavy snow for here on Tues. but no one else is showing this?

The only problem is ill have to stay up really late or get up really early if I want to see anything. (or not go to bed at all!)

Showing snow for north early Fri too (before it turns to rain) but not sure I'll be up early enough to see any as shows turning to rain by 7.00am

Like Ronan not impressed by the prospect of an Easterly. Have to laugh over on Model thread, amazing how no matter how the charts are interpreted by the professionals people can still remain convinced that the next ice age is about to arrive.!!

Yep I'm finding it hard to be quite as excited as the rest of the uk and NI I see a few people getting really excited on the general forum.

I would love to see some cold and even better some snow, but from what I've seen the cold air doesn't want to make it this far. Better chance the further East you are I guess?
