  1. Well NI Facebook is pretty bleep for me. I'm in the far east of Donegal and it is in the yellow colour, not far from amber and red warnings. find it hard to believe strabane is in the red colouring and im close enough to it and im only expected to see 2-5cm
  2. I was generalising,I meant further inland in the East some places had snow for a week or so Jan. Me and you have just had sickeners by the sounds of it
  3. The East has done brilliantly compared to over here this year. We haven't had any half decent falls yet. I'd be happy with a couple of inches. Thanks
  4. How is Eastern Donegal/West Tyrone looking? I can't check charts atm driving. Cheers
  5. GFS keeping with the Northerly potential THUS far Direct Northerly at T180 Still looking very good to my untrained eye. I ain't Michael Fish so don't have a fit
  6. so tired or should i say snow tired hope we all get one last long long blast next week good night fellow snow freaks
  7. Met office are a complete joke. They have dropped their snow warning for NI tomorrow and replaced it with a rain warning. My complaint isn't that they have dropped the snow warning it is why did they issue the snow warning to begin with when there was such high high uncertainty. The debarkle of Thursday too adds to their poor forecasting, they issued a flash snow warning on Thursday morning for the whole of NI they dropped it two hours later when only rain was recorded. I used to hold them in such high esteem now I couldn't dig a whole deep enough to throw them in to.
  8. Agreed Ronan,Met office have been shambolic of late IMO The flash snow warning yesterday being one example
  9. I've heard the USA have got dung all but who cares ha Here's the tweet BBC Weather â€@bbcweather USA/Canada: deep low will produce 30-60cm of snow in parts by Mon evening. Blizzards likely. Phil A Met.ie and met office both stating western Ulster won't get any accumulating snow tonight, both say mid and eastern ulster Fooking ridick
  10. North America is currently in the midst of a snow storm with 30-60cm of snow expected today. My sources a tweet from bbc weather
  11. I'm throwing my toys out of my pram here but that's it I'm finished with this weather malarkey onions waste of time
  12. Metoffice have just removed the yellow snow warning for the western third of NI Doesn't make sense seeing as the west is due to get most of the activity, possible an amber warning may be issued in it's place soon
  13. Hurry up and come to Donegal snow, leave them Scots alone ha

  17. T276 has heights building in greenland 1035hp with a northerly flow
  18. I'm far from knowledgeable when it comes to reading charts so don't shoot me down too hard if I'm way off the mark T144-164 looks like they're tentative signs of a link up between the mid Atlantic high and the Greenie High I didn't see the earlier charts so I'm wondering is it looking better for a link up now than it did in the previous few runs? Any one optimistic or is there no chance of them linking? I'm in the extreme north west of Ireland and got very very very little snow during the cold spell you guys had I demand a Greenie,I demand snow
  19. I'm in Stranorlar lads, how bad do you reckon it will be tomorrow We had sleet about 30 mins ago,no snow tho
