  1. Irish meteorological weather service have just issued that Monday will bring wind gusts of 100-140kmph (62-87mph)
  2. I don't know an awful lot about reading models but at 156 is it just me or does it look like the greenland high and atlantic high are trying to elope?
  3. @Coast. To our north as in miss the Uk altogether or is it a typical track were western north western Ireland and Scotland take a hit?
  4. Snowing since 4 here in eastern donegal albeit very very light for the majority of time. About an inch outside on the grass and the road is getting white now. Other parts of donegal have a decent lair I've just been unfortunate where I'm at. Didn't expect this, looking at the radar it's a narrow band moving directly East to West, long may it continue
  5. Certainly not a cold spell for me. 20miles inland and there hasn't been a frost here since last Wednesday If you look out my window you wonder what all the fuss is about Quite pathetic here
  6. Not exactly what u want to read when u live in Donegal Ulster- Tonight There'll be further wintry showers of sleet and snow, mainly in eastern parts at first tonight but them will become more widespread at the night goes on. However, much of Donegal should stay mostly dry. Lowest temperatures of -2 to +1 C.
  7. I'm quite aware of that, the stations widely across Ireland recorded minimal frosts if any at all My point is,heavy frost was FC but did not deliver
  8. No frost here again last night. Temps briefly got down to 0 but usually hovered around 1 degree. Second night in a row with no frost when they had forecast it be -2 to -4 Both Mets wrong for my location
  9. Nice one, yeah you's have had a nice weekend with it. It's really hit and miss over here with more of the miss than hit. Looks like it could break down at the end of the week so it would be nice to have a few days of it That's a long time to wait ha. ah well hope we get a dusting tonight. Sperrins the place to be I reckon
  10. The East of NI will see snow AGAIN tonight...Will any make it over to West Ulster namely west Tyrone/Donegal Losing patience ha
  11. I'm going to retire for the night! No snow for me tonight and I wouldn't rate seeing a inch plus this coming week. Enjoy everyone who has it night
  12. Can't undertsand the met office amber warning for the whole of NI when it was only Eastern/Central areas that seen snow worthy of it In the west we got nothing bar a light shower,it is in force until 9am tomorrow, they should have downgraded the western areas of NI Such a disappointment-fed up. Another weather war wound to add to the endless list
  13. Doesn't look like Donegal is going to see anything going on the radar very disappointed
  14. No real snow to talk of in east Donegal as of it,it's occasionally spitting wet snow but I feel we need more intense precipitation to get in on the action The radar doesn't look too helpful on that matter tbh all in the east
  15. Snap. I live in donegal but only only 5mile from castlederg in tyrone so I should be alright for a couple of inches going on any of those forecasts
  16. An update I found online http://irelandsweath...ng/snow-risk-2/ It conflicts with the NIW update which showed much of the extreme north in a yellow warning as opposed to the red one here Anyone got any thoughts on it's credentials?
  17. @Eagle What kind of accumulations could east donegal/west tyrone see? U seem to know your stuff ha. Cheers
  18. Metcheck aren't a reputable weather site. It will snow here,Mt on boards gives the highest totals to be in areas like southern Donegal. I asked for snowfall totals not hateful feedback lol jk
  19. Guys any predictions on snowfall totals? For the western Ulster region? I know it's pure guess work but hazard away
  20. I'm in central eastern donegal.about 6miles from castlederg in tyrone. Hope to get a good good pasting tomorrow.
