    So this OPI is helping us predict if the polar vortex will be weak or strong, is that the general gist? If it's a weak PV, does that increase chances of northern blocking? Or is it just a case of a higher chance of cold?

    Starting to settle on the pavement outside my house. I think it'll only last another 30 mins though judging by the radar. Anyone know if we'll get any more snow later? looks to be heading North of London

    light snow in finsbury park, north london. met office says should be raining. lots of reports of snow in london, does this mean the cold has pushed further south?
