    Where abouts are you? I live off Eastwood Drive in the north of the town...should be last to get hit with the direction it's moving.

    Judging by the radar it should be hitting Colchester soon....I'm currently at work at a school in Ipswich. Kids going home at lunchtime.

    Well I'm off to bed...I think Colchester has had its lot for the night...! The heavy part of the southern bit of the blob was heading right towards us and then veered off course...gutted. Night all.

    The Shotley Peninsula seems to be under a pretty intense patch...anyone nearby confirm if there's much snow about there?

    Looking at the radar, any decent stuff is skirting just north of Colchester. Still very light here.

    Been tracking that blob for a couple of hours now...and it's increased in size so much already!
