right heres one for the experts!!! why does 528 dam air always need to come from the east ? i accept it does come from the north obvious not south obvious why not west ? 1, does the atlantic warm the air before it gets here? 2, jet stream involvement 3, it does i just have not witnessed it

hey tug you are certainlly getting the hang of this now i am at a bout the same stage as you i think and i am finding difficulty in see the wobbles in the isobars that gives unstable air i.e ppn i tiny little wiggle seams to be about 2 inchs of rain a bit confussing any way i will leave you to keep posting your charts and i will study the results and when the tutors come round and mark you i can see where you went wrong well done

hey EVO do more explainations you are top dollar i understood all of what you were saying and it all made sense in good old plain english .the trouble with alot of the forcasters on here is they understand what thet are saying but dummies like me ain`t got a clue!! bye the way scoubies are better well done

thanks john i think this will help one question what the hell is a bulb temp wet or dry but on a serious note it will be handy to look up later if or when the great white appears thanks again all the not so bright weather chasers

three light snow flurries today from 1pm -4pm noting on the ground i did witness snow blowing up the road at 1pm not seen that for a while

Rain from 3.30 pm till 5.30pm sleet from 5.30 - 8.30 snow from 8.30 -11pm unfortunatlly not sticking far to wet loads of surface water around hope it doesn`t freeze or it will be an ice rink everywhere tommorrow :lol:
