    anyone have any good concoction amounts for sloe gin? this year seams to be a good year for sloes but maybe a little small interested in what amounts you mix to produce this splendid tipple

    ohhh blimey !!!!! 10 mins later still tossing the coin anvils picture is superb and simply the best one because you will only get one chance to take a picture of that piece of lightning well done all and to OON for walking all the way up that hill

    barn owls the increase in barn owls may be due to the breed release program thar took place a few years ago ,i think it was country wide but in this area we have atleast 3 pairs working all the hedge rows and field margins. another controbution is the change in farming practice which pays farmers to leave grass areas around fields for the owls and other species to hunt thier food very nice to see good numbers around as for johns picture TOAD IN THE HOLE !!

    yea my dad always mentions 1963 when he talks of snow ,will it ever return again like that ? well i think it will one day

    nice to see andys snow man is still with us had one major snow shower from about 3.30 pm lasted a good half hour and left a thick dusting ,not on roads but on grass and cars . snow much for the snowless south ehhh ok looking at that pis above we get bugger all down here

    2 snow showers today 1 at 13.30 long and heavy didn`t settle 2nd at 17.00 short sharp shower did settle but mostly gone now

    your not the only one nothing here either just the snow is west of you coming from france and slipping down to devon /cornwall that way may be next time ehhh :lol:

    snow from 10am untill about 1pm then turned to sleet ,by 3pm was rain nothing settled

    here a few the wife took with a £25 digital camera one looks like you are stood on top of a cliff ,but it isn`t

    yep that is what i was looking at on this one ,Ithink the oregan models are very good but a bit more money for this sort of set up

    as wallop weather says very light snow even lighter than snizzle must of the morning very cold wind
