    Another day. Still wall to wall cloud. Which app is that please?

    Maybe those temperature maps are based on their forecasts, rather than reality . Pretty sure it didn't get above 14c here today, and I'm a long way from the coast .

    Nothing planned for today. Half tempted to just drive west and see if I can find any brightness. Sounds like I'd have to go a long way!

    Been away for a few days. Landed last night in Luton. Drove home to Northants. House was very cold. Had to put heating on. It's not just the East coast where the weather is rubbish. Supposed to brighten up by 3 this afternoon. I'm not confident of that!

    Indeed. It's just updated, and moved it to Midday, but then back to no sun again for 1 2 3 4pm

    Same here in northants. App showing it being brighter by 11am. Be amazed if that happens.

    The forecast is for it to be clearer for the eastern side tomorrow. I wonder if that'll actually happen.

    Saying six pm for here too, but I'm not sure it'll happen at all. Seems darker now than it was this morning.

    I'd half expected a reasonable day. It's 8c, a very cool north east breeze, and total cloud cover.

    Maybe 9c max next Monday for London? Oh and a frost at night too

    In Jan/Feb1982 alone it felt as though there were more than 15 days colder than Dec 15th

    Must be a fair bit by now up around the Air balloon pub, and the road from there to Stow on the wold. No one seems to post from that area.

    So much it being the last day. Met office still have 30c for Monday in Northamptonshire

    Anyone have a prediction for the weather 19th to 26th August in South East England?

    I don't know the area well. But when I searched on Met office app for Cardiff, it says 30. I'd imagine that's too low!

    Whereas the Met office app has 30c for Cardiff on Friday
